Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset Review – #Nokia #Bluetooth #Luna @Nokiaireland @Nokia_connects

WP_20130307_008We have just received the amazing Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset with Wireless charging and so far the design, build quality and easy of use is untouched.

Packaging

WP_20130307_007The first thing you will notice about the Luna is the brilliant box it comes in, the ear piece is displayed as if it was in a museum in a clear perspex box.  The charging base and cables and documentation are then neatly tucked into an inner box.

The Headset

WP_20130307_012The headset and the charging base are very cleverly designed.  You simply pop the head piece into the base and then the entire thing can be charged via cable, plug and even Nokia’s own charging plates and pillows

Unfortunately it does appear that wireless charging will only work with Nokia’s own branded Qi devices. I tried to charge using the Maxell Air Voltage charging plate which no problem with the Lumia 920/820 but to no avail.

Functionality & Ease of Use

WP_20130307_011To pair the device you just need to ensure that you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone, then pop out the Luna.  At this point the ear piece will tell you instructions as to what to do next.

Our Luna paired without any code required on the first go but obviously I had to select it the initial time from the Lumia 920.

The fit for your ear will vary greatly from person to person but on the whole it fit well, it does feel sometimes like it may fall out but it never does.  Different ear buds in various sizes are also provided if the default ones are not comfortable.

Call quality was typical Nokia, and was perfect as expected, no one does call quality like Nokia.  In coming calls are loud and clear, text messages provide you with an alert as to whether you want to listen to them and even reply, all done with your voice.

Overall

Further testing will be needed to test battery life but I really don’t think that will any issue at all.  So would I recommend you get a Luna, the answer is a resounding yes especially if you have already converted to Nokia’s Lumia range.  However this is a brilliant bit of kit full stop and will work with any modern mobile phone so go get one.

  1. Excellent web site. Plenty of helpful info here.

I’m sending it to a few buddies ans additionally sharing in delicious. And certainly, thanks on your effort!

  2. While not universal, moving the finger down and off
the touchpad often results in a very continual scrolling
with the screen. When you learn ropes of care on the laptop,
it will be fun with no longer a task. If you happen to be
looking for repair parts, you are able to find laptop CPU cooling fans, DVD drives, parts for various kinds of radios, card readers, laptop skins and random access memory parts.
